CNA was the first insurer to offer Architects & Engineers Professional Liability insurance, and our expert underwriters average over 20 years of experience. We also serve the General & Artisan Contractors space, as well as the Environmental, Design and Construction Consultants space. In partnership with our managing general underwriter (MGU), Victor Insurance Managers, we have been providing insurance for architects and engineers since 1957.

Our Architects & Engineers Professional Liability program is endorsed by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). We also have an exclusive marketing relationship with The AIA (The American Institute of Architects), administered through the AIA Trust.

We offer the financial strength and tailored solutions that design professionals demand, backed by the leading risk management and claims resources they need. To ensure superior service, our highly responsive Claims team includes six attorneys and has decades of experience handling claims brought against architects, engineers and other design and construction consultants.

ACCESSING OUR ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS PROGRAM

Our Architects & Engineers and Construction Design Professionals program, underwritten by Victor, is open brokerage. While CNA agency appointment is not required to access our program, many of our Architect & Engineer brokers are, in fact, CNA appointed and represent our policyholders for their property and casualty needs as well.
